For years I walked a path forged by those before me, one of tradition and custom. To follow the motions: acquire significant education, gain a respectable position at a company and contribute to society in some way for the rest of my life. Although I desperately wanted to fulfill this image of my potential for the sake of my loved ones, eventually I subconsciously realized I was chasing someone else's life, among other things...

So I did what I've always done best in hidden confidence: rebelled. I thrashed against the paths of my peers and took one not yet traveled by those around me. I sought answers for questions held long since my such existence, I brought with much persistence a curious weapon to the strife: an abundant mind forever unsatiated by the quiet life.

 

and thus began my Neverending Journey.
